When Rotary partners with other organizations, we multiply the impact made by either group on their own. We call this “the Rotary effect.
From local food banks to global humanitarian organizations, we work with a wide variety of partners, including Aga Khan university, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, GoodWill, etc.
Beginning this month the Waxahachie Rotary Club acknowledges an outstanding student from Faith Family Academy for superior citizenship and scholastic accomplishments. The club is pleased to present Sam Hernandez, son of Rupert and Marianne Hernandez, grandson of Fancis Hernandez and nephew of Francis Hernandez, as the winner of the October 2013 “Student of the Month” award.
Mr. Chris Neal, Rotarian and assistant principal of FFA, introduced Sam to the club. Sam is very active in both school and church service activities.

The coordinators institute is your opportunity to learn more about your role.
During the institute, you’ll take part in skill building exercises, share best practices, and network with your fellow coordinators and advisers. It’s your chance to work with your regional team, learn about the latest Rotary initiatives, and plan activities for the coming year.
