A humanitarian service initiative focused on improving mobility and dignity of persons with disabilities through the provision of wheelchairs to individual beneficiaries and a rehabilitation center.

Facts & Figures

• Total wheelchairs distributed: 3 units
• 1 wheelchair provided to a beneficiary in Ward No. 11
• 2 wheelchairs provided to the Cerebral Palsy (CP) Centre
• Beneficiary: Ms. Munni Saha, 36 years old, physically disabled since birth (polio affected)

Budget: Transportation and miscellaneous expenses: NPR 2,500

Support:

• All three wheelchairs were generously donated by Rotary Club of Rajdhani, Kathmandu
• Handed over through Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown

Beneficiaries

• Ms. Munni Saha (Ward No. 11), a physically challenged individual requiring mobility support
• Children and residents at the Cerebral Palsy (CP) Centre

  Sustainability

  The wheelchairs will provide long-term mobility support to the beneficiaries. The initiative strengthens ongoing partnerships between Rotary clubs and encourages continued support for disability-focused community service projects in the future.
