Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown initiated a compassionate rehabilitation support project for a 20-year-old differently abled youth by providing a specially designed lower body supportive brace and customized orthopedic shoes extending from waist to toes.
A rehabilitation expert from Delhi, India, Dr. Qamar Zaheer, was specially brought to Biratnagar to conduct a detailed physical examination, take accurate measurements, supervise the fabrication process, and personally fit the supportive device.
The initiative aimed at helping the beneficiary stand independently and gradually develop the ability to walk with practice and rehabilitation support.

The project was successfully carried out under the leadership of Club President Girija Sarda with active support from Rotarians Sarita Golcha, Poonam Rathi, Dr. Mamta Verma and CBR Vice President Samjhana Pradhan.
