Rotary Arogya Mission (Nutrition Awareness Program)

As part of its focus on Disease Prevention and Treatment under the Rotary Arogya Mission, the Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown organized a Nutrition Awareness Program in July. The program was conducted by Dietician Om Prakash Shah from Birat Nursing Home, who emphasized the importance of a balanced diet and proper nutrition during a child’s formative years.

The initiative aimed to educate and inspire better dietary habits among children, ensuring their healthy growth and development. A total of 350 children from the club’s adopted school, Shree Janta Bal Adharbhut Vidyalaya, benefited from this informative session.

The project incurred a total cost of 4,800 NPR and highlighted Rotary’s dedication to promoting health education and prevention strategies, fostering a healthier and more informed community.
