The Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown successfully conducted its Tree Plantation Campaign – Phase 2 on 30th July 2026, reaffirming its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development. A total of 100 saplings were planted at Hulas Metal Pvt. Ltd. and Hulas Motors Pvt. Ltd.
The plantation drive included a variety of species — Gulmohar, Tej Patta (Bay Leaf), Amla, and Sheesham — selected for their environmental, medicinal, and long-term ecological value. The initiative was carried out with the active support of Rotarians and the management of both organizations, reinforcing a shared sense of responsibility toward building a greener, healthier future.
The campaign benefitted employees of both organizations, surrounding communities, and future generations who will experience its long-term ecological impact.
Overall, the project is expected to enhance green cover, improve air quality, encourage biodiversity, and raise awareness about environmental sustainability — contributing meaningfully to a cleaner and healthier environment.
