Community Service
The Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian service by contributing NRs. 151,200/- to support relief efforts following the disaster associated with the Bhotekoshi River in Nepal, which occurred on 26th August 2026.
The contribution was made to the Rotary District 3292 Disaster Relief Fund, enabling the District to coordinate and provide assistance to communities and individuals affected by the disaster. This financial support represents the club’s contribution toward coordinated disaster response and relief activities for humanitarian relief and support to affected communities.
The ultimate beneficiaries are the individuals, families, and communities affected by the disaster in the Bhotekoshi River area. Through the District Disaster Relief Fund, the contribution will support relief and recovery efforts based on the needs identified in the affected areas.
Overall, the contribution strengthens the collective disaster-response capacity of Rotary District 3292 and enables timely assistance to people affected by the disaster.
