Wheelchair Distribution

The Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown successfully distributed 2 wheelchairs to needy persons from Morang District on Saturday, 18th July 2026, at Swastik Jute Mills Pvt. Ltd., Budhiganga-4, Morang.

The wheelchairs were provided to:

1. Ms. Sita Kumari Sikhdar Tharu, Budhiganga-7, Morang
2. Ms. Sairaklal Tharu, Sundarharaincha-2, Morang

The initiative was organized within a total budget of Rs. 14,000/-, directly benefiting two individuals with severe mobility challenges, along with their families and caregivers, who will also gain from easier daily care and mobility support.

Overall, the programme improved mobility and independence for the beneficiaries, enhanced their dignity, confidence, and quality of life, reduced physical strain on family members assisting with daily activities, and enabled the beneficiaries to move around more safely and comfortably.
