Prosthetic limbs for amputees.
• Area of Focus: Disease Prevention & Treatment.
• We supported two individuals, Mr. Badri Prasad Manjhi from Sunsari and Mrs. Singo Marandi from Morang, in getting Prosthetic limbs. Our club paid for their travel and accommodation expenses. Rotary Mahaveer Jaipur Foot Rehabilitation Centre and Rotary Diagnostic Centre Artificial Hand Project provided artificial limbs free of cost.
• Total cost -14,000/-NPR.
• 2 people were benefitted.
• Providing artificial limbs empowers amputees to reclaim their independence and live more fulfilling lives. It restores mobility, boosts employment opportunities, and reduces stigma while contributing positively to society and the economy.
