A skill-based technical training program aimed at empowering local youth with practical knowledge of electrical appliance repair. The program is designed as a gender-neutral technical training, encouraging both men and women to participate. The course also prepares participants for the CTEVT Level-1 examination.
The training completed on 16 June and certificates provided to all.

Venue: Bakhri School, Biratnagar
Daily Class Time: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Participants are mostly residents of the Bakhri area

Estimated Budget: NPR 15,000(For Certificate giving ceremony- Certificates, banners, Token of aprreciations, snacks etc)
Support:
35 youth participants, primarily from the Bakhri community, including 14 women, who will gain technical skills in electrical appliance repair and maintenance.
Impact/Outcome
The training equips participants with market-relevant technical skills that can generate long-term livelihood opportunities. With certification opportunities through CTEVT and advanced modules like AC installation and repair, participants can start small service businesses or work with existing technical service providers. Continued collaboration with Chaudhary Foundation and local institutions can also enable similar skill-development programs in the future.
