A skill-based technical training program aimed at empowering local youth with practical knowledge of electrical appliance repair. The program is designed as a gender-neutral technical training, encouraging both men and women to participate. The course also prepares participants for the CTEVT Level-1 examination.
The training completed on 16 June and certificates provided to all.

- Notebooks, stationery, and kit bagswere provided to all participants to support their daily training activities.
- Two classroomswere provided by Bakhri School to conduct the training sessions.

- Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown: Program coordination, management, and participant facilitation.
Beneficiaries
35 youth participants, primarily from the Bakhri community, including 14 women, who will gain technical skills in electrical appliance repair and maintenance.

- Encouragement of women’s participation in technical trades, traditionally dominated by men.
- Preparation of participants for CTEVT Level-1 certification, increasing their professional credibility.
Sustainability
The training equips participants with market-relevant technical skills that can generate long-term livelihood opportunities. With certification opportunities through CTEVT and advanced modules like AC installation and repair, participants can start small service businesses or work with existing technical service providers. Continued collaboration with Chaudhary Foundation and local institutions can also enable similar skill-development programs in the future.
