The Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown held its 22nd Installation Ceremony on 28th June 2026 at Hotel Swagatam, marking a proud leadership transition for the club. The event was graced by the District Governor, Assistant Governors, Rotary families, and a host of esteemed guests, celebrating service, legacy, and new beginnings.
The formal program featured addresses by Chief Guest District Governor Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karkee and Assistant Governor Robin Shrestha, followed by the formal introduction of the new board. The ceremony drew over 170 attendees, including representatives from other Rotary clubs, senior business leaders, and members of various social organisations, alongside several respected dignitaries of Biratnagar.
The event was organized within a budget of Rs. 1,63,000. Beneficiaries included club members, Rotary families, guests from business and professional circles, and invited dignitaries, who gained value through networking, recognition, and Rotary orientation.
Overall, the ceremony successfully showcased the club’s strength, visibility, and continuity of service — setting a purposeful tone for the year ahead.
